Settings ⌘,
Ten sections in a window of their own, from Appearance to About.
Appearance
Your avatar and name, the window’s theme, and its accent: Periwinkle, Orchid, Rose, Amber, Moss, Jade or Teal. The list at the right of the section’s name picks the window’s language, from eight. Under Power, a switch keeps the display on while a session works.
Text
Two pages, Fonts and Size, chosen at the right of the section’s name.
Fonts
Eight faces for the chat, four serif and four sans serif, and four monospace faces for code and the terminals.
Size
Small, Medium and Large set every place at once. Custom is your own set: each place’s size, stepped a point at a time or typed.
Conversation
How the chat draws the agent’s work: three or more tool calls in a row fold into one row that opens, and the Outline can be turned off. Then the composer: the key that sends, auto-capitalization, and spelling and grammar checked as you type, in US or UK English, Spanish, French or German. Spanish, French and German are checked on a Mac only.
Model calls
Everything Emaki asks a small model for, each a call on your account: the plain-word explanations of tool calls, and the Outline’s labels and summaries. Each has a switch, and each agent has a model to choose for them, from its own list.
New sessions
Each agent’s permission mode, model and effort for a new session. The pills under the composer change them for one session (Chats).
Panels
Which side each goes on: the Files Panel and the Terminal Panel, one at each side of the chat, and in its margins the Outline’s seam and the layout’s, which brings in the Agent CLI. Each pair is one choice, in the order they stand from left to right.
Files
Whether a file opens as it reads or as it is written, and format on save with the languages it covers, each with its own formatter.
Terminal
The terminal’s theme, its cursor, ligatures and copy on select. Its face is set in Fonts and its size in Size.
Shortcuts
The keys of the window’s commands, in two lists: the window’s, Sessions and Panels, and the file editor’s Sublime Text commands, Lines and Text. Click a command’s keys and press new ones; a key already taken is refused, and a button puts a changed key back. The Keys page lists them as they begin.
